Baxters Potted Shrimps

At Baxters of Morecambe we have been producing Morecambe Bay potted shrimps since 1880 and we are extremely proud to be the oldest and most traditional such company in the country let alone Morecambe! We pride ourselves on quality and our potted shrimps have achieved the highest accolade with the granting of the Royal Warrant in 1967 which we retain to this day based on a totally unique recipe which has been handed down through the family for seven generations. Bowland Brewery

Home to Bowland Beer Hall and possibly the longest bar in Britain. The big idea was to bring this former textile mill back to life as a food, drink and leisure hub. Since the beginnings of 2003, Bowland Brewery has grown in both size and popularity. The core range of cask beers has expanded and so has demand. They only use the finest ingredients in the perfect proportions.

Bowland Chocolate Company

Bowland Chocolate creates beautiful chocolates in the heart of Slaidburn within the Forest of Bowland. As a small independent chocolate company, we produce chocolates for gifts and events all made with the highest quality ingredients.  

Bowland Pork

We started the business in 1995, rearing pigs to sell to local markets. Things were going well until, like many rural businesses, we were affected by the Foot and Mouth crisis in 2001. Realising that we needed to diversify in order to keep the business going, we decided to butcher our own pigs to sell at local farmers’ markets which were becoming increasingly popular. We soon outgrew our small converted butchery as demand for our meat products grew rapidly. So we took the decision to invest heavily in a state-of-the-art cutting plant. Brindle Distillery

Our handcrafted, signature gin is infused with sustainably and ethically sourced botanicals including juniper, coriander, grapefruit peel, orange peel, oats, almonds, cardamom, chamomile and cinnamon which give our original gin it’s unique taste. Cuckoo is a complex gin with a smooth mouth feel to aid those who like to sip. After a slightly sweet, piney juniper start, the flavour develops into citrus from orange, grapefruit and lemon with a lingering taste of cinnamon spice and liquorice. Dry on the finish with a peppery kick from coriander seeds. Kick off your wellies, sit back and enjoy.

Choc Amor

Choc Amor Choc Amor make all their products by hand in small batches using only the finest quality Belgian Couverture Chocolate and Lancashire core ingredients such as cream.  Their shop at Botany Bay (just off Jct8 M61) is open 7 days a week and can be found on the ground floor. Their Chocolate Rooms are down in Tarleton, pop in for the best hot chocolate and chocolate you’ve ever tasted!  Paul has hosted a Chocolate Tutored Tasting at the food festival for two years now, this year is no different and as always, is bound to be another sell out

Clitheroe Rotary

Apart from the recruitment drive Clitheroe Rotary will maintain its strong support through Rotary International for the global Eradication of Polio. In addition we hope to undertake more projects to help our local community in Clitheroe and the Ribble Valley & we will also continue our efforts to raise funds for a host of smaller local charities similar to the ones which have today received from outgoing President Frank Brown on behave of the Rotarians in the Club. Country Crepes

Country Crepes Colin Darlington has supported the food festival since day one with his delicious french style pancakes to make our Rivesaltes twin townsfolk proud.  Made using free range eggs from local Farmers Richard Thornber at Slaidburn. Never one to shy away from serving a good sprinkling of sugar and lemon with his pancakes or a thick dollop of cream with fruit, Colin’s pancakes are all made to order and are thin and delicious.

Cowmans Butchers Clitheroe

Cowmans Butchers Cowmans are famous for their huge sausage offer at their shop on Church Street. With well over 60 varieties as well as their normal offer of succulent meats and poultry, the team will no doubt be inundated again both on their stand and within their shop on festival day.  Sourcing locally and for quality has always been Cowmans remit, so be sure to visit early and take full advantage of some superb offers and selections.  

Crankshaft Brewery

Leyland’s newest nano brewery run by Haydn & Angela Williams.  We are Leyland born and bred just like our beer! We aim to brew tasty ales that will satisfy the taste buds. Our launch event was the Taste of Leyland on the 27th August 2016 and we have since done several Leyland events.   We are now well and truly established in our micro brewery unit on Boxer Place in Leyland. We have a 2.5 bbl brewery along with our smaller kit which we can do bespoke and some of our regular beers on. We are only a small brewery

Cunliffe Hog Roast and Farm Shop

Cunliffe Hog Roast and Farm Shop With over 50 years of family farming, Cunliffe Hog Roast and Catering truly believe in delivering quality, mouth-watering homemade and locally sourced food. So local in fact, they use their very own outdoor reared pigs for Hog Roasts and many other ingredients from our chicken and dairy farms in the Ribble Valley.  Lora and her team will be spinning their hog roast on the street this year, where you can fill up on a deliciously tasty home reared piggy butty!  

D Byrne & Co

D Byrne & Co Clitheroe is famous for its multi award winning, quaint but spectacularly stocked wine shop owned by the Byrne family.  Its frontage gives nothing away until you enter its tardis like interior,  jam packed full of sublime wines and spirits from all over the world.  Each family member is a specialist vintner and there is not many wines and spirits they don’t know about, cannot get or don’t stock!  They run regular wine tastings at their warehouse, also situated in Clitheroe which is fully recommended, so do get yourself on their invite list and ensure you have

The pair combined have over 50 years experience in professional kitchens. Their mission is to bring you tasty condiments, handmade with love. All Fatjax ingredients are locally sourced and contain no artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives.

Fodder Box

We are a family business, 3 generations. At the festival we will be serving Artizan Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with a variety of exciting stacked fillings. The trailer is available to hire for functions, weddings, parties etc.

Fuzzy Duck Brewery

Fuzzy Duck Brewery The Fuzzy Duck Brewery is an eight barrel (1300 litre) plant located in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire. The brewery started as a half barrel plant located at the home of the Head Brewer (Ben Croston) in Preesall in January 2006. Demand immediately outstripped supply and after a lengthy search, new premises were found in Poulton-le-Fylde. On 17th October 2006 the first brew, ‘Pheasant Plucker’ was completed on the new 8 barrel plant.
