Goosnargh Gin is lovingly crafted by Richard and Rachel Trenchard and is based at the foot of Beacon Fell, on the edge of the Forest of Bowland AONB, in the parish of Goosnargh, Lancashire. Their gins are distilled in small batches by hand, using a traditional copper alembic still. The recipes are developed using their baby still, Constance. Once we have the blend of our organic botanicals absolutely right, their larger still, Beatrice, then works her magic distilling our handcrafted, small batch gin ready for bottling and hand labelling. Our handcrafted, signature gin is infused with sustainably and ethically sourced botanicals including juniper, coriander, grapefruit peel, orange peel, oats, almonds, cardamom, chamomile and cinnamon which give our original gin it’s unique taste. Cuckoo is a complex gin with a smooth mouth feel to aid those who like to sip. After a slightly sweet, piney juniper start, the flavour develops into citrus from orange, grapefruit and lemon with a lingering taste of cinnamon spice and liquorice. Country Crepes Colin Darlington has supported the food festival since day one with his delicious french style pancakes to make our Rivesaltes twin townsfolk proud. Made using free range eggs from local Farmers Richard Thornber at Slaidburn. Never one to shy away from serving a good sprinkling of sugar and lemon with his pancakes or a thick dollop of cream with fruit, Colin’s pancakes are all made to order and are thin and delicious.
Cowmans Butchers Cowmans are famous for their huge sausage offer at their shop on Church Street. With well over 60 varieties as well as their normal offer of succulent meats and poultry, the team will no doubt be inundated again both on their stand and within their shop on festival day. Sourcing locally and for quality has always been Cowmans remit, so be sure to visit early and take full advantage of some superb offers and selections.
Leyland’s newest nano brewery run by Haydn & Angela Williams. We are Leyland born and bred just like our beer! We aim to brew tasty ales that will satisfy the taste buds. Our launch event was the Taste of Leyland on the 27th August 2016 and we have since done several Leyland events. We are now well and truly established in our micro brewery unit on Boxer Place in Leyland. We have a 2.5 bbl brewery along with our smaller kit which we can do bespoke and some of our regular beers on. We are only a small brewery

We are a family business, 3 generations. At the festival we will be serving Artizan Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with a variety of exciting stacked fillings. The trailer is available to hire for functions, weddings, parties etc.
Fuzzy Duck Brewery The Fuzzy Duck Brewery is an eight barrel (1300 litre) plant located in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire. The brewery started as a half barrel plant located at the home of the Head Brewer (Ben Croston) in Preesall in January 2006. Demand immediately outstripped supply and after a lengthy search, new premises were found in Poulton-le-Fylde. On 17th October 2006 the first brew, ‘Pheasant Plucker’ was completed on the new 8 barrel plant.
