 homemade sausage roll\, and seasonal soup. Warm fruit scones\, served with
  clotted cream and jam\, and a hand-picked selection of sweet delights fin
 ish the menu. Coeliac and vegan diets can be catered for and a little spar
 kle added with sparkling elderflower or prosecco. Afternoon tea is served 
 daily either in the Reading Room below the twinkling lights of the branche
